某人/某物已经通过了筛选更有可能获得一个职位/奖项
举个例子，我们现在开一家公司，打算招聘1位英语老师，那么过了一周，一共50个人投来简历，HR先做了初轮筛选，选出了10个，打算在这10位中选1个优秀的。
那么这个10个人的list名单其实就是shortlist

其实也有shortlist当动词的用法
shortlist sb./sth. (for sth.)
意思就是：to put sb./sth. on a shortlist for a job, prize, etc.
让某个人/某物有更大的获奖、获得工作的机会；
eg: His latest novel has been shortlisted for the prize.
他最新这部小说将很有可能拿到这个奖。
